As we continue to expand, we are seeking a Project Coordinator with a background in plumbing and experience in an office-based role to manage and oversee our project jobs.
The Opportunity:
Are you an experienced plumber who has transitioned into an office-based role, or someone with strong knowledge of the plumbing industry looking for a new challenge in project management? O'Shea Plumbing offers the perfect opportunity to leverage your hands-on plumbing knowledge and office experience to coordinate our project jobs efficiently.
As a Project Coordinator, you will take ownership of the planning, scheduling, and management of a range of plumbing projects. Your understanding of both plumbing systems and office administration will be key to ensuring seamless communication between clients and the field team, as well as the timely completion of all jobs.
Key Responsibilities: Organize, schedule, and manage plumbing projects for residential clientsLiaise with clients, providing updates and ensuring excellent customer service throughout the project lifecycleWork closely with the field team to ensure job assignments are clear, and resources are managed effectivelyCoordinate materials, budgets, and timelines to ensure the smooth delivery of servicesTroubleshoot project issues as they arise and ensure prompt resolutionsMaintain and update project documentation, schedules, and reportsEnsure compliance with safety and regulatory standards, as well as company protocolsProvide technical guidance and support to the field team as requiredRequirements: Strong technical knowledge of plumbing systems and servicesExcellent organizational and time-management skillsStrong communication and customer service skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients and colleaguesA background in plumbing (trade qualification or extensive industry experience) is a strong advantageExperience in project coordination, scheduling, or resource management is desirableWhat We Offer: A competitive salaryA supportive, family-oriented work environmentOngoing training and professional developmentOpportunities for career advancement within the companyFlexible working hours and a focus on work-life balanceJob Type: Full-time
