About The Role Ventia have been engaged by the DJCS (Department of Justice and Community Safety) to provide integrated Facility Management services incorporating planned, preventive, and reactive maintenance services, ad hoc services, and soft services including cleaning, ground, pest, and waste streams.
The Plumbers will play a key role in the team and operate across the Barwon Precinct (Lara, VIC region) of facilities for planned, reactive, remedial and ad-hoc maintenance activities across the sites.
We are also seeking Trade Assistants and Electrical / HVAC technicians to support these facilities.
Responsibilities will include, but not limited to:
Participate in a multiskilled team for delivery of high quality facility management and maintenance services. Complete planned maintenance activities across hydraulic systems associated with large commercial facilities. Identify and rectify equipment and plumbing infrastructure faults in a time critical environment. Repair, and maintain plumbing systems including; valves, fittings, drainage systems, and fixtures and respond to, diagnose, and resolve plumbing emergencies. Installation of minor plumbing infrastructure as needed. Work order management for all works completed within required timeframes. High standards across compliance and driving safety, health, environment, and quality in your work. About You: You will have qualifications and experience working as a Plumber working in a time critical environment with a focus on planned and reactive maintenance.
You will also possess:
Licenced Plumber with experience in large facilities and associated hydraulic systems. Demonstrated experience in time critical rectification and reporting. Capability in maintaining scheduled work plans. High standards across compliance and driving safety, health, environment, and quality in your work. A current unrestricted driver's licence. Be able to complete and pass a National Police Check and Medical. Be able to evidence full COVID vaccinations. Nice to have: TMV and Backflow licence, Gas fitting license, EWP - Scissor and boom lift licence, Working at Height.
