Who You AreYou're a skilled Journeyman Plumber with hands-on experience in installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems to ensure reliability and compliance with safety standards.
With expertise in piping systems, fixtures, and water distribution, you're adept at troubleshooting and addressing complex plumbing issues.
You take pride in delivering high-quality workmanship and ensuring that systems function efficiently and safely.

This is a contingent position based upon contract award. What You'll DoIn the role of Plumber, Journeyman, your duties will include: Install, repair, and maintain pipes, valves, fittings, drainage systems, and fixtures in commercial and residential structures.Collaborate with general contractors, electricians, and other construction professionals.Follow building plans and blueprints.Respond to, diagnose, and resolve plumbing emergencies.Maintain Quality Control: Implement and maintain quality control measures to ensure that all installations and repairs meet or exceed the set standards.Facilitate Team Communication: Ensure clear and consistent communication within the team and with other project stakeholders to keep everyone informed and aligned on project goals and updates.Other duties as required.Requirements:Must be a US or Australian citizen.Must have a US TS/SCI clearance w/ Poly, or an Australian PV clearance.Must have a minimum of five years of plumbing experience.Must have a US Secret or AUS NV-1 clearance.Must have a Journeyman Plumbing license or AUS equivalent.Must have a Backflow Prevention Inspector Certification.Strong understanding of water distribution and disposal systems in residential, commercial, and industrial buildings.Ability to handle plumbing tools and equipment (pipe wrenches, pipe cutters, plungers etc.
).Good communication and interpersonal skills.Attention to Detail: Precision and attention to detail to ensure high-quality service delivery and compliance with safety standards.Adaptability: Flexibility to adapt to changing conditions, technologies, and requirements.Decision-Making Ability: Strong decision-making skills to resolve issues quickly and effectively under pressure.This role will be located in Alice Springs, at a 4,400-acre facility with approximately 687,000 square feet of mission and support space.
