Join us and be part of a team redefining mining success.About the role:We have an opportunity for a Plumber/Gas Fitter to join our team on an 8/6 day shift roster.
This position is responsible for undertaking plumbing work and gas fitting for our accommodation village requirements, smooth and efficient functioning of the RO water treatment plant, waste-water treatment plant and supporting our village maintenance team as directed.Duties include but are not limited to the planning/design/install/maintenance of plumbing systems, pipe assemblies, fittings, valves, and fixtures such as sinks and toilets, installing fire hydrant and hose reel systems, connecting irrigation systems, and other physical/manual labouring tasks including use of hand tools, small plant and equipment.About you:Physically fit, you will be a motivated individual with previous plumbing experience within the mining industry, have experience working on MAK Water wastewater treatment and RO plants and enjoy a varied and dynamic role.Skills & Qualifications:WA Contractors plumbing licence and Gas qualificationsMinimum 2 years' experience in a similar roleValid C Class Drivers LicenseSatisfactory NPC clearance (Essential)Restricted Electrical Licence (air conditioning)Computer skills and ability to operate a two-way radioCompetent in reading and interpreting plans, drawings, and specificationsCapability to collaborate effectively with other tradesBenefits of joining Aurenne Group:Access to free employee assistance programAccess to salary packaging optionsAccess to benefits through SWAGShort-Term and Long-Term IncentivesShort commute to siteBrand new camp facilitiesIn-house catering staffAt Aurenne, we value teamwork, safety, and respect.
