Sure, the mining industry is booming in Western Australia – but finding the right people fit is no easy task.We have an opportunity for a Plumber/Gas Fitter to join our team on an 8/6 day shift roster.This position is responsible for undertaking plumbing work and gas fitting for our accommodation village requirements, ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of the RO water treatment plant, waste-water treatment plant, and supporting our village maintenance team as directed.Duties include but are not limited to:Planning, designing, installing, and maintaining plumbing systems, pipe assemblies, fittings, valves, and fixtures such as sinks and toilets.Installing fire hydrant and hose reel systems.Connecting irrigation systems.Conducting other physical/manual laboring tasks, including the use of hand tools, small plant, and equipment.About you:Physically fit, you will be a motivated individual with previous plumbing experience within the mining industry, have experience working on Mak Water wastewater treatment and RO plants, and enjoy a varied role.Skills & Qualifications:WA Contractors plumbing licence and Gas qualifications.Satisfactory NPC clearance (Essential).Valid work visa, permanent residency, or Australian citizenship (Essential).Restricted Electrical Licence (air conditioning).Computer skills and ability to operate a two-way radio.Benefits of joining Aurenne Group:Bonus Scheme and Long-Term Incentive.Short commute to site.Brand new camp facilities.In-house catering staff.If you are interested in this position and joining the Aurenne Team, we encourage you to apply via the link.We are an equal opportunity employer and encourage Women and First Nations People to apply.*** Please note, only people with unrestricted Australian working rights will be considered for this position. ***
