About the OPPORTUNITY We have an exciting new opportunity for a PLM-Delivery Lead to join our Hunter Class Line of Business based at Osborne SA. We embrace flexible work arrangements at BAE Systems Australia, such as working a 9-day fortnight and hybrid working. You will be responsible for the delivery of the Product Design & Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) capabilities for the Maritime business unit. This role will report to the PLM – Product Lead. Key responsibilities include: Managing the PLM services within Governance & Change Management frameworks Providing Leadership to the Product Lifecycle Management Delivery team. In collaboration with the Product Lead and Operations Lead, Partner with business stakeholders and the architecture team to ensure the product(s) remain fit for purpose Lead Service Delivery to our Maritime customer to exceeds service level expectations Partner with stakeholders (AU/UK) to plan and deliver activities within agreed schedules Lead Delivery activities with the team within project ways of working in accordance with the software development lifecycle. This will include major enhancements, upgrades, key interface development, and supporting complex Problems Take Ownership of the teams' practices, leading by example in establishing an effective and sustainable development approach with DevOps principles in mind About YOU Experience in software development or technical project leadership Demonstrated experience leading and managing a team, or are actively working toward a leadership role Conceptual knowledge of PLM, CAD/CAE/CAM toolsets and integrations Experience working in scrum teams and managing a pipeline of work Critical thinking to enable decision making and driving continuous improvement Defence security clearance, or eligibility to obtain and eligibility to be cleared for International Traffic In Arms (ITAR) regulations We believe in hiring for potential, we know that some candidates hesitate if they don't tick all the boxes.
