Your New Role:
Casual role commencing February 2025. This role will offer hours on a Saturday during school terms and during the week on school holidays when required.
Our vision is 'Playful Connected Communities' and you will directly help us achieve this by planning, developing and delivering various play experiences:
Support fathers and grandfathers by building opportunities for healthy social support and strong community connection as an alternative protective approach to community wellness. Support program establishment with the manager and organise activities to achieve outcomes and develop session materials as needed. Create welcoming environments for families and children ensuring content is relevant and enhancing participant engagement. Deliver sessions as per funders specifications, moderate for safety, role model safe play and set up/pack down resources. Communicate with parents and carers about children's needs and provide guidance to play helpers. Culture and Benefits:

We are currently seeking a passionate team player to join our team at Play Matters. If you hold qualifications and/or relevant experience in early childhood, childcare, community development, disability or family support then this is the role for you. Experience working with families from varying social and cultural backgrounds is desirable. Experience in group facilitation that requires the ability to model positive strength-based strategies when dealing with challenging behaviours is desirable.
