Modelling open decision making, we provide a supportive and collaborative environment where employees feel engaged and connected to the work of the organisation, to each other, and the community.The Role : Playford 10 Programs CoordinatorJoin our Youth team as our Playford 10 Programs Coordinator where you'll lead, deliver, and manage programs that inspire social skills, creativity and leadership among young people in the City of Playford.What you'll be doing :Deliver and continuously improve the Playford 10 program, supporting young students and youth in sports, arts and volunteering.Mentor and support staff and volunteers to foster a positive team orientated environment.Build partnerships with schools, community organisations and service providers to deliver impactful programs.Experience in community programs including grant writing, budget management and program evaluation.Assist in developing and implementing a Youth Action Plan that aligns with Council's strategic objectives.What you'll bring to our team :The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, juggling multiple priorities with professionalism and focus.A strong sense of teamwork, showing they are a real team player who collaborates effectively with colleagues and stakeholders.A readiness to work closely with and follow the direction of the Youth Manager, ensuring alignment with the program's goals and objectives.The capability to work independently when required, taking initiative and maintaining high standards of accountability.Your commitment to empowering young people, combined with your adaptability and collaborative spirit, will make you an invaluable member of our team as we continue to develop and deliver impactful youth programs.In addition you will have :Proven experience in program management and community development with a focus on young people and families.Strong relationship building and facilitation skills.Ability to help secure funding opportunities and support stakeholder partnerships.A passion for supporting youth and fostering positive community outcomes.What's in it for youOur team work hard together, but also celebrate together, learn together, and support each other.
