We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Play Worker to join our team, providing a safe and engaging environment for children.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and the ability to foster their development through play and structured activities.
This role is essential in supporting children's social, emotional, and physical growth while ensuring their wellbeing.
Responsibilities Supervise and engage with children during playtime, ensuring a safe and enjoyable environment.Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote learning through play.Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to support the children's needs.Manage behaviour in a positive manner, using appropriate techniques to encourage good conduct.Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organisation of the play area.Collaborate with other staff members to create a cohesive team environment.Provide support for children with additional needs or specific requirements.Maintain accurate records of children's attendance and activities as required. Qualifications Previous experience in childcare or working with children is highly desirable.A background in Childhood Education or related field is advantageous.Level 2 or above in childcare highly desirable but not essential.First aid and safeguarding advantageous.Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written.Ability to drive may be beneficial for transportation purposes.A genuine passion for working with children and fostering their growth through play.
