We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Play Worker to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and the ability to create a safe, engaging, and stimulating environment.
As a Play Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting children's development through play, ensuring they have fun while learning and growing.
DutiesFacilitate and supervise play activities for children, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.Communicate effectively with children to encourage participation and engagement in various activities.Manage group dynamics and promote positive interactions among children.Support children's emotional and social development by providing guidance and encouragement.Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that stimulate creativity, imagination, and physical activity.Maintain a clean and organised play area, ensuring all equipment is safe and suitable for use.Collaborate with other staff members to create a cohesive team environment focused on the children's best interests.QualificationsExperience working with children in a childcare or educational setting is essential.A qualification in Early Childhood Education or related field is highly desirable.Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage groups of children effectively.Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.A genuine passion for childcare and the ability to drive children's learning through play.If you are committed to making a positive impact on children's lives through play, we encourage you to apply for this rewarding position.
