Executive Director - Debt at Platinum Pacific Partners Australian private markets investment firm High deal velocity and highly collegiate team environment Invest through debt with an equity mindset We are seeking to appoint a new Investment Associate into the Private Credit team of a leading Australian multi asset private investing firm. Our client has an excellent reputation in the market with a strong track record in private equity for the middle market. This is a newly created role within the team, with the creation of the job driven by growth in FUM, increased deal flow and excellent track record since inception. The investment team on average completes a deal per month across the full spectrum of corporate credit lending, this includes mezzanine, preferred equity, senior secured loans. The team has also got a strong track record in structured finance and warehousing deals. The team operates in the middle market with typical deal sizes between $50-$125mio, predominantly all deals are bilateral.
We are seeking candidates with exceptional technical skills across commerciality and financial modelling. We would like to see candidates who are highly confident to pull apart complex data sets related to investment opportunities with incomplete information. Candidates must be able to build an LBO and 3 way financial statement model from scratch. Due to these requirements, our client has a preference for candidates who come from investment banking. The candidate should have 3 – 5 years investment banking experience and our client is very open minded to all sectors. This is a small team of ten investors, so candidate fit will also be judged. This comes down to attitude, aptitude for learning and a growth mindset.
