The Role: The purpose of the Platform Manager role is to take responsibility for technical support and focusing on operational matters.
The Platform Manager is a critical role in ensuring successful timely technical support and management of all initiatives, including ownership of problem and risk management that could affect platform performance and capacity.
In addition, this role is instrumental in all forms of software currency management to ensure a 'Fit for Purpose' platform is available.
Primary Accountabilities, Duties and Responsibilities: Technical lead in Fraud, with supporting duties for Tokenisation.Collaboration with all key functions across AP+ and support other projects to ensure the impact on the various services within our network are understood.Provide SME support to internal teams, FIS, Feature Space and members.Manage the delivery of assigned technology initiatives/work streams/significant work activities ensuring they are aligned with priorities and delivered within agreed time, budget and quality parameters.Coordinate and prioritise activities across development teams, providing guidance and support to team members to ensure their understanding of requirements and support expectations.Effectively prioritise, manage and communicate risks with both internal and external stakeholders with appropriate mitigation plans.Contribute to the setting up and ongoing running of the new practice areas.We'd love to hear from you if you have: A minimum of five years working in the payments industry, with a particular focus on the card rails.Quickly absorb technical concepts, juggle multiple priorities and learn new skills.Experience of platform technology is required.Highly proficient in systems such as ServiceNow, Jira and Confluence.Proven track record of working closely with technology vendors.Aptitude to articulate complex technical concepts in business language.What's Next: We know applying for a role can be a nerve-wracking experience, so we endeavour to review each expression of interest within two weeks.
