As a Platform Engineer at HotDoc, you will be at the centre of the action helping 10 million+ patients across Australia to manage their health.

Unique Value of the Role As a Platform Engineer at HotDoc, you will be at the heart of enabling our teams to deliver secure, reliable and efficient solutions.
Your contributions will directly support their success by building and owning platforms that streamline workflows, reduce cognitive load, and enhance security and reliability across our products.
Whilst Security and Reliability is part of everything we do, you will champion and embed these principles across all our platforms, ensuring they are deeply ingrained in everything we develop.
Over the next couple of years, you will help us:
Build secure, reliable products across the board, helping our Patients, Practices and Practitioners by working with our cross-functional teams in each area. Continue to secure the data of our patients, reduce our overall risk, and earn the trust of everyone in Australia by demonstrating we can be trusted. Drive efficiencies for developers through innovations in Developer experience, freeing them to focus on improving the healthcare experiences of our patients. Your Responsibilities Include Platform Development – Build, own and operate high-performance platform services that meet our high security and reliability standards.
You will demonstrate industry best practices including automated testing, Pull Request reviews and continuous integration to ensure smooth delivery. Empowering Teams – Provide our cross-functional teams with the tools, frameworks and insights they need to seamlessly incorporate security, reliability and observability into their products, without sacrificing agility or focus. Operational Excellence – Be a steward of platform services, demonstrating best practices in operational excellence, including incident management, monitoring, and on-call response. Skip Level Manager - VP of Engineering
Experiences, Capabilities & Qualifications A strong technical background and a passion for solving complex problems in creative ways.
Strong written and verbal communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with other teams.
