Job Description About the role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Platform Administrator to join our Payments and Cards team.
As a Platform Administrator, you will be a subject matter expert (SME) for Payments & Cards platforms across the organisation including NPP, PayTo, Direct Entry, Cards and Switch. The role is responsible for providing operational support, incident & problem management, change management, integration and monitoring of critical payments infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities: IT operations: Day to day administration, troubleshooting, and maintenance of Payments & Cards platforms. Manage incidents: Be an escalation point for incidents related to the Payments & Cards platform and support the incident management process. Manage problems: Identifying incident trends, root cause analysis, and determining and implementing permanent corrective actions. Change management: Leading and overseeing changes into production, ensuring that development, design, testing, and verification adhere to strict ITIL standards, minimising impacts to members and staff. Understand each official release features for the platform and how it might help the business. Provide support to the business in understanding their goals and proactively recommend new features and improvements to optimize Payments & Cards infrastructure. Direct involvement in the configuration of the platform and supporting official platform releases. About you
You will be successful in the delivery and support of member-centric platforms that are usable, stable, secure, compliant, and aligned to business objectives. The Platform Administrator will achieve this by providing strong technical acumen, driving continuous improvement, and ensuring stakeholder satisfaction.
You'll need to demonstrate experience in:
IT Operations for financial services. Supporting and maintaining payments systems including NPP, PayTo, Direct Entry and Bpay. Change management processes. Incident and problem management using Service Now. Driving service improvement using ITIL standards.
In addition to:
Strong presentation, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills. Knowledge of emerging technologies and financial services. Who are we?
