An opportunity exists for an experienced Plastics Fabricator to join our small friendly team in Bayswater, Victoria.
Duties and responsibilities for the position are, but not limited to: Locating and assembling materials Cutting, bending, gluing, and shaping materials according to design plans Operating machinery in a safe manner Solvent Joining Using hand tools, power tools and calliper's Ensuring machinery is regularly maintained Managing stock inventory to ensure appropriate stock is always available Performing preventative and regular maintenance on machines, equipment and tools used in all fabrication processes Assisting with other aspects of factory work, where required For this position you will: Have experience in a similar role Have knowledge of cutting on a CNC Multicam Machine and using the program Toolpath / Enroute would be advantageous but is not essential Have plastic material type knowledge would be advantageous Have a 'can-do' attitude and be highly reliable with a great work ethic Be organised with the ability to meet tight deadlines Be able to work to a high level of standard Have a current forklift licence or be willing to be trained to obtain a "light" forklift licence.
