About the role
Plastec Australia is seeking an experienced and safety-conscious Truck Driver to join our team in Caloundra, QLD. This full-time role will involve the transportation of goods and materials between our internal departments, as well as occasional deliveries to clients across the region using our well-maintained trucks. The successful candidate will play a vital part in our customer service chain, ensuring the smooth and efficient delivery of our products.
What you'll be doing Safely operating and manoeuvring trucks of various sizes to deliver goods on time and in good condition Conducting pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle roadworthiness Maintaining accurate delivery records and logs Adhering to all relevant road transport regulations and safety protocols Providing exceptional customer service to our clients Assisting with loading and unloading of goods as required What we're looking for A valid Medium Rigid (MR) driver's licence Forklift license; ability to load and unload trucks A pleasant communicator with a strong customer service focus At least 2 years of experience driving trucks in a commercial or industrial setting A strong commitment to safety and a proven track record of safe driving Excellent time management and organisational skills The ability to work independently and as part of a team A keen eye for detail and the ability to maintain accurate records What we offer
