Due to an internal promotion, our finance team is looking for an Accounts Officer to become a key player in our Springwood office, where flexible working options are readily available. We have also recently transitioned to a state-of-the-art invoice scanning and workflow AP software, therefore no more processing invoices!
There is opportunity for career progression with the possibility to move into a team leader role. The candidate will have a proven track record in a high volume, fast-paced business, who wants to be part of the team.
Specific duties will include, but are not limited to: Ensuring invoice workflow is operating smoothly and following up on unapproved invoices, Supplier reconciliations and creditor statements, Weekly, bi-monthly and monthly payments, Setup new suppliers and subcontractors, Focus on cost overrun invoices, Liaising with creditors, construction supervisors, and managers regarding account/invoice queries and problem-solving, Assisting with general duties and playing an active role in process improvements. The successful applicant has: Demonstrated success within a similar high volume accounts payable role, Excellent time management and prioritisation skills, Attention to detail and ability to resolve accounts payable related issues, A can-do attitude, Self-motivated and the ability to meet deadlines with accuracy, Ability to work proficiently in a team, Experience in using a large ERP such as Dynamics AX, SAP, or Oracle and invoice scanning systems.
