Plant Operator - Slasher (Maintenance) (Miles) Reference Number: 1272 Closing Date: 03-10-2024 Employment Type: Permanent Full Time Location: Miles Depot About the Role Based in Miles , you will be part of the Works Maintenance team responsible for maintaining Council's roads and infrastructure across the region.
Reporting to the Works Supervisor, you will: Provide a high standard of operating skills on civil construction and maintenance plant, in particular a Slasher; Be aware of and adhere to safe work practices; Complete allocated tasks within agreed time frames.
About you The successful applicant will have: Current C Class Driver's Licence (HR advantageous); A Construction Induction White Card; A strong awareness of relevant safety standards and requirements; Good time management skills and the capability to complete allocated tasks while working within a team; Knowledge of the MUTCD and its application (desirable); Be physically fit and enjoy manual labour.
