Plant Operator - Quarries

Your next opportunity : Boral Ormeau Quarry is located in Kingsholme, a northern suburb of the Gold Coast in Queensland, approximately 5.5 kilometres from the Pacific Highway, 33 km from the Gold Coast and 43 km from Brisbane major centres.
We have an exciting, permanent, full-time opportunity for a dedicated Plant Operator to join our high performing Quarries business. You will be part of a team responsible for the safe and efficient operation of our quarry mobile and fixed plant equipment.
Your day will involve : Safe operation of front-end loader and other quarry mobile plant as required (Haul Truck, Excavator and / or Front End Loader and Dump Truck)Safe operation of the crushing plantBasic maintenance and plant housekeepingActive participation in problem solving and continuous improvement activitiesParticipation in safety initiatives including pre-starts, toolboxes and incident reportingWhat we are looking for : Experience in mobile plant operation (Sales Loader experience desirable)HR truck licence is advantageous but not essentialQuarry experience highly regarded, but not essentialSelf-motivated with a strong commitment to safety and qualityDemonstrated ability to work effectively within a team with minimal supervisionAvailability to work Monday to SaturdayWhy Boral Opportunity for training and career development opportunitiesEmployment stability – permanent roleCompetitive hourly rate + overtime + allowancesEqual opportunity employerOrganisation dedicated to health and safety of employees #J-18808-Ljbffr
