Central Highlands Regional Council is seeking a Plant Operator / Labourer to join the teams located in Emerald & Capell in the Urban Maintenance Crews.
As a member of council's Infrastructure and Utilities team, this position is responsible for performing a range of labouring duties and small plant operation tasks, to assist in the completion and maintenance of road and town facilities.
As a Labourer with Central Highlands Regional Council there are opportunities to enhance your career with the potential to upskill qualifications, licences and plant tickets.
You will also have additional earning potential when overtime work is available.

To be considered for this opportunity, you will need to possess: Experience in a similar role in a civil construction setting A positive and flexible attitude towards a diverse range of labouring tasks Willingness to work on rural job sites which will involve staying in a camp environment when required Current Queensland Drivers Licence Construction White Card Having the following licences/tickets are not essential, but would be beneficial: Experience with road construction and/or maintenance Statement of Attainment or tickets for various small plant equipment HR Vehicle Licence Traffic Controller Ticket Working for Central Highlands Region has its benefits.
