About the roleApplications are invited for a qualified candidate for a Plant Operator position. We are looking for a self-motivated, enthusiastic and engaged team member to support operations working out of our Narellan Field Service Centre.
Working as part of the team, your responsibilities would include operating various plant & equipment including Non-Destructive Diggers, Earth Borers, Lifter Borers, EWP's, and various heavy vehicles to assist in the construction & maintenance of our electrical network. Working normally in a team of 2 or assisting other larger workgroups to help deliver programmed works as required. Job tasks are completed in various outdoor environments including roadsides both rural and urban areas.
The role of the plant operator can include but is not limited to loading and unloading at the depot, site set-up and risk assessment, set-up and operation of various plant & vehicles as well as site assistance including shovelling and use of pneumatic tamper.
