Plant Operator

Your next opportunity Boral is currently seeking applicants for a Plant Operator role at our Bridgewater Quarry near Hobart, Tasmania.
Reporting to the Quarry Manager, we are seeking an experienced Plant Operator whose primary responsibilities will be the safe and efficient operation of quarry mobile and fixed plant.
Your day will involve: Operation of front end loader and other quarry mobile plant as required (water cart, etc.)Operation of the crushing plantBasic maintenance and plant housekeepingActive participation in problem solving and continuous improvement activitiesParticipation in safety initiatives including pre-starts, toolboxes and incident reportingWhat we are looking for: Experience in mobile plant operation (loaders, trucks, etc.)HR truck licence is advantageous but not essentialQuarry experience highly regarded, but not essentialSelf-motivated with a strong commitment to safety and qualityDemonstrated ability to work effectively within a team with minimal supervisionAvailability to work Monday to SaturdayWhy join the Boral team: Permanent, full-time opportunity offering overtime? Opportunity for training and career development opportunitiesEmployment stabilityEqual opportunity employerOrganisation dedicated to health and safety of employees
