Programmed on behalf of Impact Fertilisers is seeking an experienced forklift operator for a permanent full-time Operator position at the busy Burnie Depot.
Impact Fertilisers is looking for a dedicated and experienced operator to help ensure the safe and efficient operation of our Burnie site. This position is available and open to either an experienced forklift operator or someone who is capable for a 2IC position.
You will be involved in plant equipment operations, maintenance, and ensuring that they meet customer needs, including farmers and transport contractors. Plus, overtime is available during peak periods!
Key Responsibilities:
Safely operate forklifts and mobile equipment.
Perform routine maintenance and housekeeping tasks.
Assist with warehousing, loading, and moving fertiliser.
Ensure safe and efficient operations.
Help with inspections, repairs, and preventative maintenance.
Complete site documentation accurately and on time.
Process orders and enter data into SAP.
Promote and maintain health, safety, and environmental standards.
What is required:
A valid forklift licence with practical experience operating forklifts.
A strong commitment to safety and attention to detail in documentation.
Willingness to obtain competency in operating a front-end loader (Costs covered by Impact)
Strong communication and computer skills, with the ability to work autonomously and within a team.
Ability to handle manual work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.
A current driver's licence.
Willingness to undergo relevant plant and equipment training as needed.
Ability to pass a full pre-employment medical
