Hourly rate from $54.34+ OT from $81.51+ + OT We are seeking a highly experienced Plant Mechanic for a Resident Field Service role in the Parkes region.The Parkes resident will support all Caterpillar customers in this region operating as part of the WesTrac Dubbo Field Service team. Based in Parkes, the position will deliver quality customer service to our loyal Caterpillar customer base in the Parkes, Forbes, Weddin and Lachlan Shire Regions.This position will allow you to work autonomously as you apply your high level of technical skills and expertise to servicing and repairing Caterpillar machinery for our customer base including Local Govt, Agriculture, Quarry's, Construction (Road and Civil), Road Transport, Underground Mining and Industrial Engines.Key ResponsibilitiesPerforming repairs, maintenance and inspections on a range of customer equipmentDiagnosing and reporting for preventative maintenanceAutonomously providing solutions, service and satisfaction to our customerLiaising and building a strong customer base and providing timely product supportDocumenting work and completing any required documentationScheduling jobs and ordering parts as necessaryRoster and RemunerationRoster: 10.5-Hour Shifts, 5/2 Monday - FridayRates: From $55.57 per hour, O.T From $83.36 per hourPotential earnings of up to 200k per annumDesired Skills & ExperiencePost-trade experience in a similar roleCaterpillar product knowledge and maintenance experience, excellent diagnostic and repair skillsStrong organisational skills with the ability to work autonomously in the fieldStrong commitment to meeting customer requirements and providing service excellenceDedication to maintaining safe work practices and environmentExperience with DBS, SIS and SIMSI desirableWhy WestracAs one of the World's leading Caterpillar dealers, WesTrac services a broad range of customers across NSW, ACT & WA.
