Reporting to the Workshop Supervisor , as an integral member and Plant Mechanic, you will be responsible for assembling & delivering high quality new mobile mining equipment to our customer base, which includes various high-profile mining companies across WA, whilst ensuring optimum safety and efficiency throughout the entire build process.
Equipment you will work on mostly includes:
Drills - MD6250, MD6310 Shovels - 6060, 6040 Location: South Guildford - Lot 88 - New Machines
Roster: 5/2 (Monday to Friday) - 10.5 hour shifts
To be successful, the following is required:
Australian-recognised Heavy Diesel or Mobile Plant Mechanic Trade Certificate Previous experience working on heavy earthmoving equipment - Caterpillar desirable Demonstrated ability to work well in a team environment Additional licenses such as High Risk Work Licence and Working at Heights are highly desirable Be well aligned with and exhibit WesTrac's core values of Safety, Pride, Accountability, Respect and Customer What we offer:
