Join the team at WesTrac as a Plant Mechanic!
Working from a customer site in Cadia, our Plant Mechanics are responsible for completing maintenance & repairs on an array of CAT machines from R3000 Loaders through to 777 Off-Highway Trucks! With mine site experience essential, our successful candidates will ensure all repairs, preventative maintenance and inspections are completed to Caterpillar standards whilst championing a safety-first approach to everything they do.
Roster and Remuneration

Roster: 7/7 (7 days on, 7 off, 7 nights on, 7 off)
12.5 hour shifts
Annual earnings from $107,000 - $144,000

Desired Skills & Experience

Australia recognised Mechanical Trade qualification
Previous mine site experience
Unrestricted Drivers Licence
Familiarity with Caterpillar equipment
Solutions focused mindset and ability to adapt to changing requirements
Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills
Excellent diagnostic and repair skills
