If you're a qualified Mechanical Fitter, Heavy Diesel/Heavy Vehicle, or Light Vehicle Mechanic, we have exciting opportunities for you!
Join our Tomago-based Rebuilds Workshop and expand your skills in Mining Mobile Plant Equipment.
Reporting to the team lead, your role will be crucial in overhauling and rebuilding mining mobile equipment, including Off-Highway Trucks (OHTs), Dozers, Graders, and Drills.
You'll work on models such as 789, 793, 777, D10, and D11, as well as some auxiliary equipment.
Within our 14-bay facility and outdoor PAD, you'll focus on inspecting customer machines for wear and tear, repair and replace faulty components, and implement preventative maintenance to extend equipment lifespan.
You'll also maintain accurate records to ensure first-class workmanship in a safety-conscious environment.

Complete your nights in 1 swing, every 3 weeks + 5 weeks of annual leave Roster Pattern: 5D4O 5N4O – work 15 days out of 28 Day shift: 0600-1830 & Night shift: 1800-0630 (12.5 HR shifts) Hourly rates UP TO $55.87 + OT $83.81* Annual earnings UP TO $131k + Super + OT Roster Pattern: 5D2O x2 5N2O x2 Day shift: 06:00-16:30 & Night shift: 18:00-02:30 Hourly rates UP TO $55.87 + OT $83.81* Annual earnings UP TO $145k + Super + OT *Rates above are a guide only and each candidate will be assessed based on competencies and experience* What we're looking for Certificate III in Mobile Plant Technology or a Mechanical trade qualification with transferable industry experience.
Familiarity with Caterpillar surface mining equipment (desirable).
Experience rebuilding mobile mining equipment and/or components desirable.
Solutions focused mindset and ability to adapt to changing requirements.
Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills.
Unrestricted Drivers Licence.
Close attention to detail and ability to perform tasks to meet Caterpillar quality standards.
Team oriented with proven ability to meet set deadlines.
