Superb opportunity within the world's leading sustainable building materials company.Located at Tweed Heads.Competitive salary package including over-time.Supportive and diverse management setting realistic targets and goals.About The RoleIn this key role you will be responsible for managing the operations of our Tweed Heads Concrete plant to achieve business objectives and operational targets to maximise growth and profitability. Day to day, you will manage plant operations to ensure concrete is supplied and delivered in accordance with schedules. You will ensure fleet utilisation is maximised, oversee the stock management and COD processes, and ensure that the plant operates in full compliance with all relevant legislation, regulations and company policies.This role requires a keen attention to safety, a strong sense of responsibility, and a high-performance leader who fosters teamwork and cooperation, with strengths in analysis and problem solving whilst dedicated to delivering exceptional service.Further responsibilities are found in the Position Description which is available upon request and will include:Being a role model for safety.Maintaining a safe system of work in the workplace.Effective day-to-day supervision of reports and contractors and ensuring an efficient and high performing team.Ensuring forecasts, stock levels and KPIs are managed in conjunction with the production staff.Ensuring the plant operates in full compliance with all relevant legislation, regulations and company policies.Managing R&M expenditure as well as accurate P&L reporting.Ensuring Preventative Maintenance is implemented and adhered to.Efficient utilisation of the concrete truck fleet.Assisting in the development and implementation of community engagement plans.Building and maintaining effective working relationships with key stakeholders, clients and suppliers.About YouTo excel in this role, you should possess the following skills and experience:Credible experience in a similar role, preferably within the concrete, aggregates, or related heavy manufacturing sectors.Effective problem solving and analysis skills.Excellent communication, interpersonal and relationship building skills.A strong safety focus.Ability to work in a fast paced, physically active environment, where hours of operation may vary depending on customer orders.This is an outstanding opportunity to join our high performing team and to contribute to our world leading business.Why Holcim:We will invest in your growth, providing you with direction, leadership, and recognition with supportive management setting realistic targets and goals.
