About the role:
Reporting directly to the VP Asia Pacific, this is a crucial role responsible for developing and leading the Emerson Isolation Valves operation at its Brisbane plant, with an expansive customer base across the region. Leading a team of approximately 80 across Operations, Inventory / Purchasing, Planning, Customer Care & Safety / Quality, this role is integral to ensuring the future operational success by aligning global strategies at a local level. With a focus on continuing to deliver high quality customer service both internally and externally, the Plant Manager will guarantee the safe, efficient and consistent flow of product from supplier to customer.

Who are we looking for?
Professional qualifications will be complemented by your exceptional people leadership skills, personal drive, financial acumen, a high level of resilience and adaptability, personal integrity, and commitment to deliver. You will have a proven depth of leading an operational/industrial site and sizable team, ideally within a Manufacturing, Engineering, FMCG, or related industry sector. With strong influencing skills, you will enjoy working within a diverse global organisation, demonstrating in depth experience operating in a matrix structured organisation with various reporting lines.
Naturally, you will demonstrate:
A proactive and professional working style and the ability to easily build and maintain positive relationships across all levels of the business;
An absolute commitment to safety, resilience to both navigate and manage a changing environment; and
Proven experience working as a senior leader, alongside your authentic people leadership style to create an environment where your team can excel in their performance to deliver business outcomes.
