Plant/Machine Operator - Dodd And Dodd Group Pty Ltd T/A Cd Dodd Scrap Metal Recyclers

Dodd and Dodd Group Pty Ltd has over 50 experience in dedicated scrap metal recycling throughout Western Australia. We consider ourselves market leaders for safe recycling, as well as on-site specialists for extensive clean-ups and responsible salvaging. Our specialty is effective site waste management, including hazardous waste. Our clientele range from small commercial developers right up to large mining ventures. We are currently seeking experienced and highly skilled Excavator Operators to join our team in Karratha, WA.  Duties will include:  Operation and maintenance of a range of excavators including their proper positioning;  Fitting of approriate buckets, blades and hammers as required to the power plant;   Safe and efficient raising and lowering of attachments and buckets using manual and hydraulic controls;  Moving and loading (as required) of various materials (namely metals and scarp) using blades and buckets,  Ensuring that all equipment is maintained and operated in a safe and efficient manner, and in accordance with OH&S and company policies,  Working closely with other members of the team and observing their verbal and visual instructions; Performing routine maintenance, refuelling and repair tasks on equipment, and reporting any defects or issues to the appropriate personnel; Complete all necessary paperwork and documentation, including time sheets, inspection reports, and maintenance records These are full time positions. All candidates must have at two years full time experience as an Excavator Operator and hold a relevant certificate (e.g. Certificate II or Certificate III).  One year experience will be considered in lieu of a qualification.
