Plant & Equipment Specialist - Mechanical Clough has an exciting opportunity for a Plant and Equipment Specialist with a background in Mechanical to join our Bidding Team working across a range of exciting bids and projects within our Sydney office! In this role, you will provide engineering and technical support related to the mechanical field for ongoing bidding and project start-up activities.

Your focus will include:
Support bidding and project start-up activities including engineering feasibility studies and procurement processes. Responsible for preparing relevant tender returnable schedules and associated technical documentation. Drive procurement strategy for Key Plant and equipment. Working with engineering and construction teams to identify and optimize the plant and equipment investment strategy. Identifying problems that arise and resolving them. Ensuring that safety and environmental rules and programs are strictly adhered to and incorporated into P&E tender specifications. What you will bring to the team:
Bachelor/master's degree in mechanical engineering. Strong knowledge of plant and equipment used in the industry and their applications. Knowledge of relevant industry standards and regulations related to plant and equipment procurement and operation. Relevant work experience (5 years minimum) in bidding, estimating, or project management in major infrastructure and energy sectors (preferred). Experience in preparing technical specifications and scope of work for plant and equipment procurement. Experience in managing budgets and procurement processes for plant and equipment. Strong negotiation skills to ensure competitive pricing and favorable terms and conditions for plant and equipment procurement. Capable of managing multiple bids/projects simultaneously. Interstate travel may be required for major project bids. Clough's people enjoy:
