With more than thirty years of proprietary plant breeding and field trial research behind them, they are continuously optimising how they, and their grower partners, sustainably maximise productivity and production.Your new roleAs the Leader and Manager of BRA's engineering function, you'll oversee all engineering operations throughout the plant and associated infrastructure. You'll be leading, managing and developing a team of highly skilled engineers and technicians, enabling them to achieve engineering and production targets. Additionally, you'll be responsible for the readiness, availability and reliability of plant, processes and equipment.Key Responsibilities:Lead and manage the engineering team, providing guidance and support.Oversee the maintenance and optimization of plant, processes and equipment.Develop and implement engineering strategies to improve plant efficiency, productivity and asset reliability.Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations.Collaborate with other departments to support production goals and projects.Manage budgets and resources for engineering projects and maintenance.Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure operational excellence and readiness of plant and equipment.What you'll need to succeedTo be successful in this role, you will have:Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical or process), ideally with certification from Engineers AustraliaMinimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing or processing plant environment.Proven leadership, management and team development experienceWhat you'll get in returnThis is an excellent and unique technical leadership opportunity in NW Tasmania.
