Plant Engineer Salary: $90,000 - $100,000 per annum ReOzone is seeking an experienced Plant Engineer with a minimum of 5 years of experience and a Bachelor's degree in Engineering (or related discipline).
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional to contribute to our operations, oversee projects, and optimize plant performance.
Key Duties and Responsibilities You will perform the following duties: Assist in the development and implementation of the annual capital budget.
Communicate consistently with the project manager, client, and contractor.
Compile plant data to generate reports in compliance with state and federal regulations.
Coordinate plant treatment process control testing and proper calibration of online analytical equipment.
Perform independent research to optimize the performance of water and wastewater treatment processes.
Lead construction administration duties, including documenting activities and providing oversight.
Stay informed about new manufacturing technologies and equipment to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
Ensure vendors/subcontractors manufacture products according to specifications.
Attend staff meetings, in-services, and other campus activities as needed.
Maintain and develop plant drawings, standards, and procedures as appropriate.
Manage, develop, train, coach, and evaluate direct reports.
Ensure plant systems are maintained through preventive maintenance administration.
Maintain tools and equipment, promoting safety and proper work habits among staff.
Serve as project/task manager for large-scale projects with minimal support.
Prepare and revise chemical, material, and service contract specifications.
Review bids, recommend contract awards, and act as a representative for contracts.
Supervise and direct plant engineers, civil engineers, supervisors, assistants, and interns.
Evaluate metering/measuring equipment needs and requisition materials, tools, and chemicals for plant operations.
Recommend allocation of budgeted funds and request approvals for major expenditures.
Assist with preparing annual fiscal budgets and financial reports.
Participate in long-range planning to improve plant operations, minimize costs, and reduce environmental impact.
About You Minimum 5 years of experience in plant engineering.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related discipline (essential).
Proven leadership skills to manage teams, contractors, and large-scale projects.
Strong problem-solving, organizational, and analytical abilities.
Experience in budgeting, contract management, and compliance reporting.
