Supply Chain Lead
We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic customer focused go-getter to jointhe Hanson team in Castlemaine, Victoria. The Plant Controller has excellent career development potential withthe opportunity to learn about concrete, quarry materials, plant operation,concrete batching, scheduling, and logistics whilst working in the constructionindustry.
Candidates from all industries are encouraged to apply – we're just looking forgreat people with a positive can-do attitude… we'll teach the rest! If you dohave batching or concrete experience that's great but it is not apre-requisite.
This is a full-time role,Monday to Friday, including overtime and rostered Saturday work according tobusiness needs.
In your new role with us, you will be: Overseeing the operation of a concrete batchplant Operating a front-end loader (FEL) Regularly interacting with customers, takingorders & scheduling deliveries Working in a high performing team,collaborating with other local plants to deliver positive outcomes forHanson and the customer Able to demonstrate safety and show coach andmentoring potential Ensure all products adhere to strict qualityrequirements Monitoring all plant and equipment, scheduling& conducting maintenance as required Managing maintenance & production tasks,which includes some level of manual handling This role is a great fitfor you, if you: Are looking for a career change and want towork in the construction industry Have the drive to succeed, can work andwithout supervision Are an effective communicator and have a teammentality Seek a flexible roster that includes Saturdaywork and reasonable overtime Are looking to obtain a Construction Card /White Card Are able to operate with and support our ZeroHarm safety policy Can physically perform all tasks associatedwith the position What we offer: Monday - Friday starting from 6:00/6:30am -3:30/4:00pm + rostered Saturday mornings finishing up around lunchtime FEL ticket (if not already achieved) Be part of highly recognised global brand nameand growing organisation Ongoing training and development opportunities Hanson Australia is anequal opportunity employer, and we employ people from all walks of life.
