Let's talk about the team : ResMed Global Planning, consisting of demand and supply planning, is the global function that manages the end-to-end planning of buy, make, move and sell of ResMed products impacting and enhancing millions of lives. It is currently undergoing several focus initiatives including business transformation and the implementation of an advanced planning system (i.e. o9 solution) to drive optimal planning capabilities. We are looking for a curious and strong problem solver with a passion on technology, data analytics and willingness to go extra mile to enable business users to achieve outcomes. The ideal candidate is highly motivated to partner and enable our global planning team by directly working with internal and external technical experts and other cross functions along this transformation journey. Let's talk about the Role and Responsibilities: The Planning Solution Manager – Global Planning is responsible for maximising the value of our holistic planning systems/solutions (i.e. o9, Oracle, Tableau, Excel Macro, etc.) to enable integrated planning processes. You are the business subject matter experts of the planning system/solution and accountable for answering the questions: What solution and feature should be used for what planning use cases? What else capability is required and why to better support planning team achieving business outcomes? Planning user enablement & continuous solution improvement Identify and gather planning requirements, translating into best practice, scalable solutions with a focus on exceptional user experience; Assist and support planning users on planning system/solution configuration changes, including (but not limited to): scenario modelling, work flow, UI layouts, assignment rules, approval processes, dashboards and reports; Proactive system/solution optimization including solution review, system and data health check, user feedback gathering and analysis, etc.; Implement and assist end-users in troubleshooting/coaching in planning system that enable users to utilize the system capabilities New user and ongoing user training on planning solutions/systems – incl. application upgrades/enhancements; Develop and grow planning team's system proficiency and Super User Community; Partner with business process specialist on continue business process improvement by leveraging existing and/or new functionality of the technology solution; Business solution documentation and KB (Knowledge base) maintenance; Act as voice of planning users, conveying user feedback, suggestions, and feature requests to improve planning solution/systems; Manage user forums or beta testing programs to provide insights for future planning solution development and continue improvement. Solution analytics and measurement Identify unused or underutilised planning solutions and/or features with root cause analysis; Develop and monitor metrics to quantify business process improvement through system/solution adoption; Measure and govern planning data quality, implementing rules and automation as needed for continuous improvements; Partner with data analytics team to train and coach business users to develop data and analytics literacy; Solution administration & user support Primary Point of Contact (POC) in responding to planners' queries/issues prior escalation to the tech team; Leverage helpdesk resolution and collaborate with internal/external tech teams to drive user satisfaction; Manage testing and plan validation with planning users for routine platform upgrades and solution changes; Own the business communication of any planning solution/system changes to end users and business process owners; Regular review on user profiles and access configuration; Let's talk about qualifications: Required: Critical thinker with strong analytical mindset and business acumen Demonstrates curiosity and solutions-oriented thinking. Seeks to understand the business to better deliver solutions. Proactive team player, keen to contribute and collaborate Excellent relationship-building and communication skills; Ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels; Available and responsive to user questions in a timely manner; Strong system knowledge and hands-on experience with mainstream Planning solutions – i.e. Kinexis, o9, Logility, SAP APO, etc. Demonstrates continued personal/professional development Preferred: Bachelor's/Postgraduate degree, or professional qualification in a STEM related discipline or APICS certification Supply chain planning experience within Pharmaceutical, Medical Tech or Automotive industry Experience in time series forecast, inventory projection or scenario modelling Familiar with transformation and change environments Advanced MS Excel skills (e.g. Power Query, VBA) Intermediate to advanced skills on coding languages like SQL and/or Python Deep functional knowledge in advanced planning systems or certified system administrator; Hands-on experience in advanced planning system configuration, including (but not limited to): Work flow, assignment rules, approval processes, fields, page layouts, record types, dynamic layouts, apps, actions, custom settings, mobile administration, dashboards and reports Experience in advanced planning system implementation with in-depth understanding on solution design, system and data flow Joining us is more than saying "yes" to making the world a healthier place.
