About the role
Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, you will focus on ensuring a seamless flow of materials, products, and services, minimizing delays whilst also negotiating terms and pricing with suppliers.
Collaboration will be key to your success, working closely with the NPD, Quality, and Warehouse teams, as well as building strong external relationships.
This role will suit a self-starter who likes to take ownership of their department and enjoys the challenge of problem-solving and making things happen to ensure the continued success of the organization.
Responsibilities: Implement robust processes for the planning and procurement departmentSourcing of new products/suppliersNegotiate pricing and lead times with current suppliersWork with production to ensure accurate materials planning and production schedulesTrack delivery times and minimize any delaysInventory controlSkills & Experience:
Success in this role will come from experience working in planning or procurement within a food manufacturing environment.
