As the Planning & Performance Coordinator, you'll provide crucial support and expert advice across the Faculty's diverse strategy and planning projects. Collaborating closely with senior leadership and team members, you'll prepare detailed analyses and briefings to address emerging issues and advance the Faculty's strategic goals. Your role will involve significant engagement with teaching, research, and operational initiatives, requiring exceptional communication, analytical, and organizational skills to manage multiple priorities independently.
Your responsibilities will include:
Provide assistance in the development, implementation, delivery and monitoring of the Faculty's Strategy and Business Planning initiativesProvide tailored and trusted advice of a strategic, tactical or operational nature to the Faculty Executive and senior managers, including undertaking complex analysis, writing papers and presentations that are clear, concise and compellingSupport the Faculty's strategic projects of all scales, including Fishermans Bend planning and implementationWho We Are Looking For
You will possess exceptional written, analytical, and problem-solving skills, capable of interpreting and synthesising complex data to deliver innovative solutions. Your excellent interpersonal abilities, combined with strong organisational and planning skills, enable you to work collaboratively and manage multiple priorities efficiently with minimal supervision.
You will also have:
Postgraduate qualifications in a relevant discipline and/or equivalent mix of education and significant relevant experienceExtensive experience in contributing significantly to strategic and business planning within a complex environmentDemonstrated skills and experience in qualitative and quantitative analysis including modelling, scenario and sensitivity analysis, performance measurement, institutional analysis and benchmarkingFor further information regarding responsibilities and requirements, please refer to the attached PD.
This role requires that the successful candidate must undergo and maintain an up-to-date Working with Children Check. This is essential to guarantee a secure environment for all individuals at the University. In the case the selected candidate doesn't have a valid Working with Children Check, they will be able to apply for the WWCC as part of the initial onboarding procedures. Please note: Visa sponsorship is not available for this position. This role requires current valid work rights for Australia.
