Planning Officer

The role
As a Planning Officer, you will be responsible for contributing to system-level health service planning functions within the System Planning Branch. Your role will include undertaking analysis to develop an understanding of population health needs and health service requirements, and providing input into advice on service capacity and other service planning information.
The successful person

You will have demonstrated: Analytic and research skills including the ability to identify suitable theory and evidence, critically analyse, summarise and apply the results in planning documents, reports and submissions.Ability to use the Microsoft Office suite with sound experience in using data analysis programs (e.g., Microsoft Excel), reference management programs (e.g., Endnote), and willingness to develop skills to use other software programs as required (e.g., PowerBi, Content Manager).High level of communication skills, both written and oral.Knowledge of, or ability to rapidly acquire knowledge of, the health system and structure.About us
