Responsibilities: As a Planning Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the planning and scheduling activities for our rail and infrastructure projects.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
Project Planning and Scheduling: Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, ensuring alignment with project objectives and timelines.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather project requirements and integrate them into the planning process.Monitor and update project schedules, identifying potential risks and proposing mitigation strategies.Resource Management: Coordinate with project managers to allocate resources effectively, optimizing workforce productivity.Work closely with various departments to ensure the availability of required resources for timely project delivery.Stakeholder Communication: Act as a key point of contact for project planning-related inquiries, fostering effective communication with internal and external stakeholders.Provide regular updates on project progress, milestones, and any potential deviations from the schedule.Conduct risk assessments and develop contingency plans to address potential project delays or disruptions.Implement proactive measures to minimize risks and maximize project success.Evaluate and enhance planning processes, incorporating industry best practices and emerging technologies.Lead efforts to standardize planning methodologies across projects for increased efficiency and consistency.Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, Project Management, or a related field.Proven experience in planning and scheduling for rail and infrastructure projects.Proficiency in project management software and tools.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
