This role will be the lead in the Mackay, Isaac and Whitsunday office based in Mackay, delivering customer-focused, high-quality planning and development outcomes for current and future Queensland communities. You will have theopportunity to contribute technical expertise and planning and development best practice to the regions we service.

Join our dynamic team at the Planning and Development Services division within the Planning Group and take the lead in the Mackay, Isaac and Whitsunday (MIW) office based in Mackay.
As the Lead Planner, you will play a pivotal role in delivering customer-focused, high quality planning and development outcomes for both current and future Queensland communities. Your responsibilities will include providing technical expertise, implementing planning and development best practices, and contributing to regional development through statutory and strategic land use planning services.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead the Planning and Development team in the MIW office to achieve outstanding outcomes for Queensland communities.
• Contribute technical expertise and planning best practices to enhance the quality of services provided to the regions we serve.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure effective implementation of statutory and strategic land use planning services.
• Foster a customer-focused approach to planning and development, ensuring the needs of communities are met.
