About the Opportunity
As a Coordinator of Statutory Planning, you'll spearhead a passionate team dedicated to achieving excellence in planning and development. This is your chance to make a significant impact during your tenure on our community by providing expert guidance and innovative solutions.
The Statutory Planning Team has one of the most diverse portfolios of the Melbourne metropolitan councils, with planning applications being considered in our established residential, industrial and commercial areas, green wedges, activity centres, hills townships, railway townships, heritage precincts, Westernport townships and lots more.
As a leader, you are strategic and influential with the ability to mentor, coach and impart knowledge onto others.

You Will Make an Impact By
Leading and mentoring the statutory planning team to ensure proactive communication, timely decision making, compliance with obligations and high-quality outcomes. Coordinating workflows and liaising with other teams to streamline processes. Implementing business and customer service improvements. Ensuring compliance with financial, corporate, and risk management requirements. Leading proactive communication and collaboration with key stakeholders. Providing expert advice to the management and Council. What You Will Bring
Proven leadership experience in statutory planning. Strong knowledge and application of planning legislation. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage and mentor a team effectively. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Why Work with Us
