Administration Coordinator Regional Strategy and Planning Permanent / Full Time Location – Proserpine $85,807 to $91,341 per annum The Whitsunday Regional Council is situated at the heart of the Great Barrier Reef.
The region encompasses the 74 tropical Whitsunday Islands, the coastal towns of Cannonvale, Airlie Beach, Jubilee Pocket, Shute Harbour and Bowen along with the rural towns of Proserpine and Collinsville.
The Whitsunday region offers a dynamic environment and is perfectly placed to live, work, play and invest.

The Role
An exciting opportunity exists within our Regional Strategy and Planning directorate for an Administration Coordinator.
In this role, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to the Director Regional Strategy and Planning and act as a first point of contact for the Director and staff within the department.

Responsibilities include:
Providing administrative support to the Director.
Acting as a first point of contact for the Director and department staff.
Drafting correspondence and reports for review.
Demonstrating proficiency in the use of the Microsoft Office suite of applications, particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Minimum Requirements:
C Class Manual Drivers Licence.
Excellent written communication skills.
Certificate III in Business Administration.
