This is an exciting opportunity for the right person to make an important contribution to how we deliver long-term sustainable water and sewerage services planning for East Gippsland, and directly contribute to the success of our organisation.
About the role The Planning Engineer Networks will assist with the development, implementation and improvement of EGW's growth planning for our water and sewerage networks.
This includes growth and demand forecasting, network hydraulic modelling and associated master planning.
Once identified, the role will assist with the development of network related projects into business cases ready to handover to project delivery along with the provision of advice to other teams.
About you We are looking for the right person for our team, who values a genuine work culture founded on collaboration, accountability, authenticity and innovation.
To succeed in this role, you will need a well-developed understanding of the engineering principles of water supply and sewerage systems, including water and water recycling processes, and water and sewerage reticulation networks.
We are looking for a team member with understanding and skills gained through relevant experience in infrastructure project management, infrastructure planning and hydraulic modelling.
We would also welcome applications from graduates interested in growing their career.
This role will require a high level of communication and engagement skills to enable you to liaise effectively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure network infrastructure planning is fit for purpose.
Experience in the preparation of reports on complex matters is highly desirable.

This full-time ongoing role is substantively based at our Bairnsdale Head Office, however flexible work conditions may be negotiated for the right candidate.
