We need a Planning and Compliance Officer who can partner with our amazing team and work with our stakeholders to achieve great things.
What You Will Be Working On As a Planning Compliance Officer, a day in the role will look like: Managing your own work assignments in a timely manner ensuring accurate compliance with the City's Town Planning Scheme and planning related Local Laws.Conducting investigations into non-compliance with planning legislation and working closely with stakeholders to plan corrective actions.Completing site visits and development application inspections to support the public with fostering compliance and minimize misunderstanding of requirements.Effectively preparing investigation reports and applying interpretation of legislation.About You We are ideally looking for someone who has the following: Able to navigate difficult matters and work closely with stakeholders to achieve the desired outcome.Ability to interpret and apply legislation.Works well with a small team and has clear, concise communication.Applied experience in a compliance, investigation, or enforcement type role.Ability to deliver sound solutions for complex compliance issues as well as demonstrate good problem-solving skills.Possession of a current White Card or the ability to obtain one.What it is Like Working Here We are a values-led organisation guided by our belief that we:
