Join the teamWe have an exciting opportunity for a Planning Assistant in our fantastic Apparel team! As a Planning Assistant working for Kmart, you will support our Planning team & work as a vital link between our planning and inventory teams to ensure we have the right stock in the right place at the right time.
Some of the key responsibilities are (but not limited to):
Run regular reports and work with planning team to interpret the analysis and actions for their department as a result.Accountable for the setup of seasonal planning documents in preparation for the financial planning process.Perform scheduled size analysis and provide recommendations for improvement in size availability.Run analysis on country/region and grading performance and suggest actions to be taken.Accountable for producing the post seasonal reports and support planners with post seasonal review preparation.Provide support to planners on key fixture planning and reporting.Confident and concise presentation of analysis in relevant meetings.Understand the characteristics of product and how to maximise sales through attribute reporting.To be successful in this role:We're looking for a commercially savvy individual who will bring a curious and data-driven mind-set as well as a passion for all things Retail! You love focusing on product, customers are always front of mind and building and managing relationships with a variety of key stakeholders is one of your strengths. We'd also love you to have:
Excellent time management and organisational skills.Strong understanding of apportionment and replenishment.Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.Ability to manage and interpret data.Strong attention to detail.Effective numerical, critical thinking and analytical skills.Sound knowledge of MS Applications, especially Excel.Relevant qualification in Commerce, Business or Retail related is highly advantageous.If you have a hunger to learn and grow in this role, then we'd love to hear from you!
