About the role We are currently hiring a Planning Assistant with strong experience in SCADA systems to join DT Infrastructure and Alstom in delivering the $1.6 B contract for Perth's High Capacity Signalling Project.
The project includes the design, supply, installation, testing, commissioning and maintenance of the new Automatic Train Control System to replace the existing signalling and train control systems in Perth.
Based out of the CBD project office, this position will support business objectives through planning, scheduling, performing and analysing maintenance activities.
The primary objective is to maintain compliance with all statutory laws, company policies and procedures whilst meeting the required targets of quantity and quality as defined in budgets and forecasts in maintenance planning.
To be considered for this role, you will possess: Experience in the Rail industry sector is highly advantageous Tertiary Qualifications in applicable discipline Primavera 3.1 minimum Project Planner Advanced User Experience in a planner or scheduler position within the Engineering, Electrical or construction industries Demonstrated ability in proactively building relationships with key stakeholders and developing new business opportunities Experienced and able to prepare and analyse tenders and estimates A good understanding of, and experience with, the business challenges impacting upon business in different life cycles (e.g.
