Planning and Research Officer, Clerk Grade 5/6, Goonellabah Do you have research and analytical skills?Join a team dedicated to researching, analysing, providing advice, and developing systems and processes across emergency risk management and planning fields.Work in a volunteer-based agency supporting communities across NSWFull time ongoing role.Flexible working conditions including a mix of working from office and homeAbout the Role You will utilise your skills to contribute to the research, development and maintenance of community-focused plans, intelligence and/or warning systems for the purpose of safeguarding communities from the risk of floods, storms, and tsunamis.
This role involves working in the Zone planning team and closely with the Emergency Planning team.
It also involves participating in and contributing to NSW SES planning by preparing, reviewing, and updating agency emergency plans and readiness initiatives.
You will also work with internal and external stakeholders with the common goal of reducing flood risk and developing plans that support our volunteers to effectively respond to emergencies.
This role would suit someone who has research and analytical skills, including graduates and professionals who have worked in flood engineering, research and/or policy roles.

About you To be successful in this role you will have:
