Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Planning and Project Controls Director to lead our project management team.
This role is pivotal in ensuring the successful delivery of projects through effective planning, scheduling, and control processes.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, excellent leadership skills, and a proven track record of managing complex projects.Key Responsibilities:Lead and manage the planning and project controls team, providing guidance and support to ensure high performance and professional development.Develop and implement project planning and control strategies, methodologies, and standards.Oversee the creation and maintenance of project schedules, ensuring alignment with project objectives and timelines.Help grow the brand through business development and client relationships.Monitor project progress, identify potential risks and issues, and implement mitigation strategies.Ensure accurate and timely reporting of project status, including progress, costs, and risks.Collaborate with project managers, stakeholders, and clients to ensure project objectives are met.Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project planning and control processes.Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related field.Minimum of 15 years of experience in project planning and controls, with at least 7 years in a leadership role.Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and software (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project).Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver results within deadlines.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Professional certifications such as PMP, PMI-SP, or equivalent are highly desirable.Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
