Do you have well developed administration skills that are transferrable to an important role within our Planning and Development team? Council is seeking an experienced Administration Officer to provide a full range of planning and development administration support and to assist with the efficient and effective performance of the Planning and Development Team and its operations.This position is based in Dalby and is for a fixed term period of two (2) years.Reporting to the Planning and Development Administration Supervisor, you will be:providing courteous customer service to external customers via face to face, telephone, email or correspondence;providing administrative support to the Planning & Environment Manager, Principal Planner, Planning & Environment Administration Supervisor, Compliance, Development Engineer and all Planning and Development staff;carrying out duties accurately, professionally and efficiently as directed by the Planning & Environment Administration Supervisor, including the preparation and delivery of administrative tasks that are associated with the Planning Act;coordinating the process, including the preparation, presentation and delivery of development applications.About yourselfThe successful applicant will have:high level of computer literacy and ability to learn new systems and processes;good problem-solving ability;strong analytical ability and a track record for delivering work based on process; andability to prioritise and meet deadlines, and work under benefits working for WDRC:Work / life balanceEnjoy quality time with flexible working arrangements.Access to Corporate Health PlanTake care of yourself and join a health plan to improve life.Health & Wellbeing program and Mental Health SupportChange your lifestyle and live better with healthy ideas.
