What you'll be doing This role will collaboratively work with buying and other business units to ensure that the commercial plans of the business, as represented in range architecture, commercial activities, demand forecasts and strategic initiatives, are optimised to achieve profitability and growth. Support Senior Merchandise & Demand Planner to achieve KPIs and ensure all periodic activities are executed Facilitate the efficient use of capital resources and inventory investment by operating within open-to-buy parameters, developing action plans for slow moving and exit lines and working with supply planning to optimise replenishment and ordering. Be an engaged contributor in executing the strategy of the business and ensure alignment of department strategies Analyse performance weekly and publish reports and KPIs Conduct range reviews according to schedule and communicate outcomes Alignment of commercial plans and initiatives with forward sales plans Work with buyers on new product development ensuring sales and gross profit targets are met, merchandise strategy is adhered to and OTB targets are observed Who you are 3-5 years' experience in a similar role High competency in MS Office Suite – Advance Excel Demonstrated understating and knowledge of bulky goods retailing. Provide leadership and decision-making in a key business area Possess strong commercial and business acumen. High level of communication skills, both written and spoken.
